  The photos shown here were taken in Medellin, Colombia, 1968. Happening upon a factory that specialized in producing religious statues, I was fortunate enough to have a camera in hand. In effect, these images display what had been discarded for imperfections or other. Nothing was arranged, and no artificial lighting was used.
